What is a French Macaron? A French Macaron is a meringue-based cookie made with egg whites, sugar, and almonds. Macarons are commonly filled with buttercream or ganache between two cookies. The confectionery is characterized by its smooth, domed top and ruffled circumference (referred to as the "foot").
How should I store my macarons? If you are waiting to enjoy your French macarons a few hours past their delivery, we recommend storing them in the refrigerator (preferably in an airtight container). For best results, our macarons should be consumed within 5 days of delivery. Let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. If you need longer-term storage, our macarons can be frozen for up to a month and can be served after standing at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
Are your macarons gluten-free? Yes, Nikkolette's Macarons are made with gluten-free ingredients!
Is your kitchen entirely wheat-free? No. While our macarons are gluten-free, Nikkolette's Macarons are made in a commercial kitchen that handles wheat products.
Are your macarons dairy-free? No, all of our fillings contain cream and butter.
Are your macarons Vegan? No. Nikkolette's Macarons are made with traditional French methods which use egg whites to make a fluffy meringue for the shells. All of our fillings contain cream or butter.
Are your macarons Kosher? Not at this time.
If I have a nut allergy, should I eat Nikkolette's Macarons? No. Unfortunately, we are NOT a nut-free kitchen. Our macarons are made with almonds/almond flour. Some of our flavors also contain peanuts, pistachios and hazelnuts. We recommend that customers with nut allergies do not consume our macarons.
How big are your macarons? Our Macarons are approximately 1.75" in diameter. Since they are handmade, the macarons may vary slightly in size.
Do you provide nutritional information? At Nikkolette's Macarons, everything is made from scratch from the finest, natural ingredients. All of our ingredients are preservative-free.

Can I place a custom flavor or color order? Absolutely! At Nikkolette's Macarons, we handle custom orders regularly. Contact us at email@example.com for details and pricing. We require a minimum of 100 macarons required for custom orders. Custom orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance. Each custom color has an additional flat fee of $20.00. Each custom flavor is an additional $25.00.
Can you print a logo onto the macarons? Yes!! We have an edible printer so we can print logo or text on the macaron. Simple is best. Custom printing is an additional $0.50 per macaron. Work directly with Nikkolette on all custom printing. Please place order at least one week in advance.
What is your payment policy? When you order online, payment must be made in full by credit card. If you would like to pay by cash or check upon delivery or pickup, give us a call at (651) 334-8821 for our policy.
What is your payment policy for weddings or larger events? To reserve your event date, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks before the event.
Do you have special packaging for wedding favors? Yes, please visit the Weddings & Parties section of our website. We offer various box sizes for party favors and macaron towers. For larger orders, be sure to place your order at least two weeks in advance.

Nikkolette's Macarons is fully licensed and insured with the Hennepin County Health Department.
Can I preorder my macarons and pick-up during your storefront hours? Yes, you may! All pre-orders can be placed through our website on our SHOP page. When ordering online, choose your preferred pick-up day from the dropdown options. During the checkout process, enter the same billing/shipping address to complete the order.
Do I have to preorder? Can I just come into your shop? Of course!! If you want to pick out 1 or 100 of our macarons, stop in during out storefront hours. We have plenty and never run out. We also have pre-made boxes of our 7 and 12 pack macaron gift boxes, they make the perfect gift! However, we do suggest preordering online if you want multiple boxes of our 2, 4, 7 or 12 packs.
Do you ship?
Yes, we offer nationwide shipping. Since macarons are a perishable product, we are unable to ship internationally. All orders can be placed through our website on our SHOP page. Delivery method (shipping or pickup) is selected during the Shipment section of the checkout process.
· To ensure that your package does not stay in a transit facility over the weekend, macaron orders are only shipped Monday - Wednesday via USPS Priority Mail.
· Orders received on Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday.
· We do not ship on Thursdays, Fridays, Holidays or Weekends.
· We do not ship to P.O. Boxes
· Nikkolette’s Macarons is not responsible for USPS shipping delays, invalid addresses or lost/stolen packages.
· When shipping, we use insulated bubble wrap and ice packs to ensure quality during transit.
· The ice pack may be not be cold upon arrival. This is ok as the ice pack was used to keep your order cool during transit and will be thawed by the time it arrives.
Do you offer macaron classes? At this time, we are not offering macaron classes.
