Where are you located? We currently do not have a storefront. All of our macarons are baked in a commercial kitchen located in Plymouth, MN. Nikkolette's Macarons is fully licensed and insured with Hennepin County. Orders to be picked up at the commercial kitchen are by appointment only.
Do you deliver? What are your delivery fees? Can I pick-up my order? Yes, we deliver Nationwide. All orders can be placed through our website. We also offer hand delivery locally within the Minneapolis area. A delivery fee of $15 will apply within a 20 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN 55405. Please call for delivery rates beyond the 20 mile radius. If you prefer to pick-up, we can schedule a time. Delivery method is selected during the Shipment section of the checkout process.
What is a French Macaron? A French Macaron is a meringue based cookie made with egg whites, sugar and almonds. The macaron is commonly filled with buttercream or ganache between two cookies. The confectionery is characterized by its smooth, domed top and ruffled circumference (referred to as the "foot").
Are your macarons gluten-free? Yes, Nikkolette's Macarons are made with gluten-free ingredients. Please be advised that our macarons are made in a shared commercial kitchen which handles wheat.
How big are your macarons? Our Macarons are approximately 1.75" in diameter. Since they are hand-made, the macarons may vary slightly in size.
Are your macarons dairy-free? No, the majority of our fillings contain dairy.
Are your macarons Kosher? Not at this time.
If I have a nut allergy should I eat Nikkolette's Macarons? Unfortunately, we are NOT a nut free kitchen. Our macarons are made with almonds/almond flour. We recommend that customers with nut allergies do not consume our macarons.
Do you provide nutritional information? At Nikkolette's Macarons, everything is made from scratch, from the finest ingredients. We do not use any preservatives.
Ingredients: powdered sugar, almonds/almond flour, egg whites, sugar, chocolate (white and dark), heavy cream, butter, pistachios, milk, fresh fruits, fruit puree, freeze dried fruit, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, peanut butter, cocoa, coconut, coffee, vanilla bean, cornstarch, spices, natural flavor, food coloring FD&C.
How should I store my macarons? Unless you plan on eating within a few hours of delivery, we recommend you put your macarons in the refrigerator upon delivery. Let them sit at room temperature at least 30 minutes before enjoying. For best results, our macarons should be consumed within 5 days of delivery.
Macarons can also be frozen up to 1 month. Allow 1 hour to reach room temperature.
Can I place a custom order? Yes, please contact us at email@example.com for pricing. Minimum of 100 macarons required for custom orders. We recommend that you place larger orders at least 1-2 weeks in advance. Each custom color is an additional flat fee of $25.00. Each custom flavor is an additional $30.00.
What is your payment policy? When ordering online, payment must be made in full by credit card. If you would like to pay by cash or check upon delivery or pick-up, give us a call at (651) 334-8821.
What is your payment policy for weddings or larger events? To reserve your event date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 2 weeks before the event.
Do you have special packaging for wedding favors? Yes, please visit the Weddings & Special Events section of our website. We offer various box sizes for party favors and macaron towers. We recommend that you place larger orders at least 2 weeks in advance.
Do you provide macaron towers to display the macarons? Yes, please check out macaron tower section for all of the details. There is a rental fee of $25 each tower. This fee includes the use of the tower only. Wedding/Event setup and delivery begins at $50. In the event that there are missing parts or damage, replacement fees will apply.
